Vanna Vans started with a simple frustration: most vans looked the part, but didn’t truly work for life on the road.

So we set out to change that. To build vans that are smarter, tougher, and more comfortable in every condition. Vans that perform just as well in the middle of winter as they do on a summer road trip. Vans designed for real use, not just good photos.

This isn’t about selling a lifestyle. It’s about giving you the freedom to live yours, without limitations.

Vanna is made up of a team with diverse creative and problem-solving backgrounds. Some of us come from operations. Some from design and engineering. Some from hands-on automotive and manufacturing work. What brings us together is a shared commitment to building camper vans that perform reliably wherever they go.

About Vanna Vans

Our Story

Vanna Vans started with real experience on the road.

Jason Gilbraith (Co-Founder and CTO) spent years researching off-grid and four-season van technology before building his own, living full time out of a Mercedes Sprinter in Colorado while running his drone business and skiing the Rockies.

In 2020, at a snowkiting event in Garrison, Minnesota, Ben Gleason (Co-Founder and CEO) first saw Jason’s van set up on a frozen lake in -20 degrees. That moment showed what was possible when a van is built right.

With Jason’s technical expertise and Ben’s business background, Vanna Adventure Vans was launched in 2021 to build the next generation of off-grid, four-season camper vans.

Since then, Vanna has grown its team, expanded its facility, and now builds both adventure vans and specialized vehicles like mobile medical units and recruitment classrooms.

Our Approach

Vanna Vans was built from real experience on the road, not theory.

We believe in keeping things simple, intentional, and built with purpose. Every van starts with a conversation and stays collaborative through final delivery. No middle layers. No confusion. Just a clear process and a better result.
