Important information before your trip
Dumping Grey Water
In North Dakota and Minnesota, grey water is treated like sewage and must be dumped properly. Campsites with RV’s must provide a sanitary dumping station. We do not provide a hose to attach to the grey water tank for dumping. Instead, there is a switch to open the tank and it dumps out from underneath the van. Dumping over sewer drains is allowed. A good rule of thumb is to make sure you are dumping at least 200 feet away from water sources.
When camping in National Forest lands grey water must be dumped 200 feet away from streams or lakes and use small amounts of biodegradable soap. Scatter strained dishwater.
In the backcountry, dump grey water away from any fresh water sources. Campgrounds usually have designated dumping areas.
Camping
For many renters getting away can mean going completely off grid. With our four-season, fully equipped, off-grid vans, we are able to give renters that experience! For more information on public land camping for each state check out the Bureau of Land Management Camping website. They also provide resources for climbing, E-biking, hiking, and mountain biking on public lands.

Packing Tips
Review the list of items included in the van on our Lodgify booking website to prepare to bring anything else you might need.
Try to pack in collapsible suitcases or bags in order to stow them once unpacked.
Consider the temperature of where you are going – the inside of the van is heated, and can be nice and cozy – but if you want to spend your evenings outside be sure to pack proper gear!
